AAUW Birmingham Branch Foundation, Inc.

The AAUW Birmingham Branch Foundation is a 501(C)(3) organization founded to support the mission-based programs of the AAUW Birmingham Branch.  Throughout the year the foundation raises funds through an annual fundraising event, Ebay sales, partnerships with Kroger Rewards and by accepting memorials and other donations.

The foundation is a board-based organization.  There are no dues or membership.  It functions via an eight-member board of directors that reports monthly to the AAUW  Birmingham Branch board.  The reports are to give information and to receive news of the branch that will be needing funding, such as scholarships, conference sponsorship, programs like Explorathon, etc., and leadership needs (attendance at the AAUW Michigan annual meeting and convention and other training opportunities).
